Kumeu Brass at the Kumeu Show

Our Patron (Prime Minister John Key) conducts the band at the annual Kumeu Show

Kumeu Brass is currently a D-Grade band which is highly active within the community and in the brass banding world.

We have a 25-strong membership and rehearse regularly in our band room situated in Kumeu, just north of Auckland, on Friday nights at 7.30pm. The band hall is just inside the Kumeu Showgrounds, up Access Road and then left around Waitakere Road, and at gate 7 on the right.

Kumeu Brass is involved in a wide range of activities every year including competitions, concerts, parades, Anzac celebrations, Gala days and Christmas events.

We play a wide range of music from classical to pop, marches to hymns.
