The Kumeu Vintage Brass

is an ensemble of (mostly) senior players who meet for "a blow"  every Thursday afternoons, 1:30 p.m. in the band room at Kumeu Showgrounds.

There is no age limit (maximum or minimum), but the average age of members is 72 years, and they have previously played in a total of 75 other bands over 50 years.

If you've played in a brass band in an earlier life, come on over for a  blow.  Join Kumeu Brass (annual subscription $60) to be eligible for a instrument.
