New players are always welcome with Kumeu Brass. We are a friendly, social bunch, coming together to enjoy music.
If you are a competent brass player where you will gain expertise in contesting and concerts, by all means, turn up for a blow at our Friday night rehearsal (7.30pm to 9.30pm) in the Band Room or contact us through the Contact us page or musicaldirector@kumeubrass.org.nz
Daylight Brass
Alternatively, turn up on a Thursday, Kumeu Vintage Brass rehearse on Thursdays 11.30 – 1 .30pm in the band room and have play-outs in a variety of concerts, community events and retirement villages.

Evolution Brass – our Learners’ Group
Objective:
“To cater for players from beginner level until they are sufficiently competent and confident to be incorporated into a band”.
Our Musical Director can also offer individual tuition. Once the basics are learned, players may join the Evolution Brass Band which runs from 6 to 7 p.m before the main band on Friday nights
